Alchemy Hotels emerged in 2008 out of the realization that to run a successful property its management not only must understand the intricacies of the operational running of a hotel but must also have the expertise to effectively liaise with large financial operators and investors. Managing partners Tej and Sarina Dhillon have combined their collective years of experience to offer bespoke advice, training and hands-on management to hotel teams in varying financial and operational situations.
Drawing on members of our teams’ parallel experience and expertise in running, re-branding and designing of hotels, we work in collaboration with the hotel managers, their staff and potential third party specialist companies to improve upon the operational running and brand positioning of the hotels. By exploiting these fundamental proficiencies within the management team, Alchemy seeks to improve a hotel’s bottom line revenue figure in a sustainable way, while always remaining accountable for any work carried out.
The parent company of alchemy hotels was started in 1989 and currently has between 400 and 450 employees. The group has 5 properties with a total turnover of £20 million. The group works in collaboration with Savills, Clydesdale, PWC and Clyde & Co.
